      How to connect to Wimi with the Wimi MFA application?

      When Wimi MFA is enabled on your account, you will need to use the Wimi MFA app (iOS or Android) to log into Wimi from your browser.

      Go to the login interface of your Wimi account.

      • Enter your email and password and click on Connexion.

      • A QR code will appear on the screen.

      • Open your Wimi MFA application and scan it.

      ⚠️ NOTE 1: if you use a VPN on your smartphone or tablet, we advise you to pause or disable it, only when you launch and scan the Wimi MFA QR-Code to connect to your Wimi account. 
      - Indeed, the VPN could block this connection.
      - As soon as you are connected, you will be able to restart / activate the VPN on your smartphone.


      • Follow the steps requested: fingerprint, facial recognition or enter a temporary 6-digit code (for devices without biometrics).
        below is an example on iOS with Face ID:

      • If the authentication is successful, you will access your Wimi account.
      • If not, Wimi MFA will invite you to try again.

      ⚠️ NOTE 2: Use the same smartphone as the one used for your first login and make sure you have an internet connection.


      What do I do if I have lost my smartphone?

      If your smartphone has been lost or stolen, you will not be able to log into your account. You will need to contact an administrator of your Wimi to reset your access.
